ABOUT US

We are a new church coming to Martinez, GA in early 2025. We have a heart to start a church in the Martinez area that will connect our community to God through worship, discipleship, and outreach.

OUR MISSION

To be and make disciples of Jesus Christ that are growing in their love for God and their love for others. (Matthew 22:35-40)

OUR VISION

To change the world for Jesus Christ through fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)

OUR BELIEFS 

Scripture 

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and that the Scriptures are the infallible Word of God.                                                                   

God 

We believe that there is only one true and living God who is Triune in nature. The Holy Trinity is made of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who are three in person, and one in essence being eternally equal in every way.  

God the Father 

We believe that God the Father is eternal and fully divine in every way. He reigns with providential care over all of creation according to the purposes of His grace. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and all-wise.  

God the Son 

We believe that God the Son (Jesus Christ) is eternal and fully divine in every way.  In His incarnation, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary fully taking on humanity while fully maintaining His divinity. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His substitutionary death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. He was raised from the dead with a glorified body and ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God the Father. He will return in power and glory to judge the world and to consummate His redemptive mission. 

God the Holy Spirit 

We believe God the Holy Spirit is eternal and fully divine in every way. He indwells every believer from the time of their conversion sealing their salvation and providing regeneration to their spirit. He divinely guides all believers towards the will of God. The Holy Spirit spiritually gifts and empowers all believers toward the fulfillment of the work and mission of God.    

Man 

We believe that man was created in the image of God, holy and innocent. Through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin enter the world corrupting the world, Adam and Eve, and all their descendants. For all have sinned and fallen of short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). Because all have sinned, all of humanity is in need of salvation from their sin. 

Salvation 

We believe that the only way of salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Nothing can separate true believers from the love of God. True believers will be kept by His power unto salvation.  

Baptism 

We believe that Christian baptism is administered only by the immersion of believers in water in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.  

The Lords Supper 

We believe the Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience and worship whereby Christians, through partaking of bread and the fruit of the vine, remember the death of Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming.

Deacons 

We believe that the office of deacon is to be occupied by godly men who are set aside to serve the church. The character of a deacon must meet the biblical qualifications prescribed in Timothy 3:8-13.

Day of Judgment 

We believe that there will be a resurrection of the dead and a judgment when all mankind will stand before the judgment seat of God. The wicked shall be judged for their sin and go away into everlasting punishment, and the saints who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will enter into everlasting life.
